First Signifigant Snow of the Year
December 13, 2007 - Falmouth, MA
Today we saw the first (and hopefully not the last) significant snowfall of the year. 4-6 inches fell all across the Cape. Some public schools got out early, but I was stuck in school all day long, even though our math class was empty when all the seniors left early.
After about 6 hours of heavy snow, the precipitation turned to freezing rain, packing down the snow and hardening it up. The sledding today was awesome. More snow is in the forecast for Saturday night and then a major Nor’Easter for Sunday. Highest forecast is 4 feet for the summits in northern Vermont and New Hampshire. The Pats game is gonna be a mess, but they’ll still win, despite what the motherfucking Jets fans thing. Of course, the Patriots have no experience playing in the snow, so they’ll definitely lose. And oh yeah, the snow will help the Jets. Yeah. Of course. Asswipes. Dumb asswipes.
